On June 5, the delegation of ITOCHU Corporation led by head of Natural Gas Business Division Sumiyoshi Sijisuru visited CITIC Metal Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Citic Metal”), and conducted exchanges with Wu Xianwen, chairman of Citic Metal, Wang Meng, deputy general manager of Citic Metal, Wang Xinli, deputy general manager of CITIC Resources and heads of relevant departments on natural gas business cooperation. 

 

Mr. Sumiyoshi Sijisuru introduced the overall situation of ITOCHU Corporation’s energy and chemical business and the investment plan and trade status of its natural gas business. The meeting served as a platform for idea exchanges on the exploration of upstream resources, trade in the intermediate links and the construction of downstream distribution channels of LNG business, and for discussion on the future supply & demand situation and pricing mechanism of LNG, as well as the cooperation possibilities and communication mechanism of both sides.
